We are seeking a Dispatcher Support to join our dynamic team as we continue to push the boundaries of precast concrete design and construction.
Job Description: Fritz-Alder Precast requires a motivated professional to work within a team setting, to ensure all precast products are loaded efficiently and safely, and delivered to Southwestern Ontario locations on schedule.
Job-Related Skills, Interests and Values:
Load planning. Ensuring all products and miscellaneous items are allocated correctly to an appropriate trailer
Communicating with carriers to deliver up to 100 loads/week
Bill of Lading creation/verification
Booking transport
Scheduling of deliveries, in communication with multiple sites/clients
Administration of paperwork
Dispatch personnel according to written schedules and work orders, or as required by emergency situations
Maintain contact with drivers throughout their shifts and address any routing issues they might have
Maintain vehicle operator work records using computerized or manual methods and ensure time sheets and payroll summaries are completed accurately
Update site/customers on the status of their deliveries including any delays that occur
Monitor road conditions, construction zones, and accidents in order to revise routes as needed
Monitor invoicing

Salary: $24.50-$26.10/hourly.

Experience: Two years of dispatch experience preferred. Prior working experience with trucks and trailers considered an asset.
