About Us: Since 1972, Fritz-Alder Precast has produced and installed precast concrete products, leading the way through innovation. Fritz-Alder is growing again and seeking a full-time experienced Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team.

 

Position Overview: You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of equipment. This hands-on position requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with power and hand tools.

 

Responsibilities:

• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance service to ensure optimal performance of machinery, including telehandlers, skid steer, rubber tired gantry crane, overhead cranes, batch plants, automated concrete delivery, trucks and trailers.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Collaborate with other team members to complete repairs promptly.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
• Other maintenance-related work as required.

Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude.
• Experience maintaining and repairing equipment, preferably heavy equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals.
• Familiarity with power tools and hand tools.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Completion of a related technical school program
• 310T certification
• Valid driver's license
