About Us: Since 1972, Fritz-Alder Precast has been producing and installing precast concrete products, leading the way through innovation. Fritz-Alder is growing again and seeking a full-time experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team.
Position Overview: You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of equipment. This is a hands-on position that requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with power tools and hand tools.
Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs and preventive maintenance service to ensure optimal performance of machinery, including telehandlers, skid steer, rubber tired gantry crane, overhead cranes, batch plants, trucks and trailers.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete repairs in a timely manner.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Other maintenance-related work as required.
Qualifications:
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Experience maintaining and repairing equipment, preferably heavy equipment
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools
Requirements:
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Completion of a related technical school program
- 310T certification will be an asset
- Valid driver’s license
