- Verify that manufacturing and concrete testing procedures comply with applicable standards, ensure tests are performed correctly with proper records maintained, and require correction and documentation of any product deviations.
- Provide engineering input on non-conformance reports (NCRs), customer complaints, and product deviations, coordinate resolutions with engineering, production, and QC teams.
- Conduct regular production floor inspections to clarify production tickets, resolve ambiguities, review reinforcement and embed installations, and address production ticket or steel interface issues.
- Incorporate engineering requirements into production practices to ensure consistent quality and conformance to project drawings and specifications.
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to standardize details, embedded items, handling hardware, and devices for efficiency and consistency.
- Collaborate daily with QC, production, ready-mix, repair, and yarding personnel to resolve technical and operational issues.
- Support preparation for internal and external plant audits (CPCQA, CSA, or equivalent), review audit findings, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
